  1. Update time (yes seriously.. again) Couldn't resist doing a paint job for the new Zamani Torero muscle car (yeah, they aren't fooling anyone with that name... it's a Mustang haha) Here it is, a replica of the Shelby GT500 Super Snake Available at my main store of course (including a rezzable demo) for 75L and on MP here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Torero-Paint-Applier-Shelby/17287893
  2. May 18 - update time. Here's my latest release, dubbed "Mirage". It's a paint scheme for the Rubber Bunny Halob, based on a real life hovercraft used by the Sheraton Mirage Resort in 1988. They had 6 of these hovercrafts, which they used to take passengers from the Gold Coast to Brisbane, site of the World Expo in 1988. Full repaint as usual, so that's exterior, interior, and most of the accessories. However, this only paints the LONG cabin Halob. Found on MP here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Halob-Paint-Applier-Mirage/17282193 and there's a demo to rez at both my main store in Bay City and my freight hub in Sagittata. In other news, my main store is now a GTFO Hub - accepts road vehicles and helos/airships. Helipad is on the roof and trucks can drive round the back to unload.

  5. Regarding the JAVA Explorer https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/JM-Explorer-Floatplane-w-Automatic-Flaps-Automatic-Takeoff-Wind-System/11331248 This plane was given out as a prize a few weeks ago in the drivers of SL group and a few people had issues with it not being able to deliver to certain airports (Whitestar was the common one). I just discovered that on the vehicle page: https://sl-gtfo.com/vc.php that the Explorer is listed as a BOAT and not a seaplane. Maybe that;s the issue
  6. April 15 update. Well the one positive from the recent spate of TP and sim-crossing crashes, is that I am getting more time to paint So, I've managed to finish off one of the paint schemes i showed in my previous post: It's called "Killigrew", and that's the RL name of a cheetah marine catamaran delivered to Falmouth Harbour. I've made it about as accurately as I could given the limitations of SL, and I think it's come out pretty good. Like most of my paint appliers, almost every single part of the boat is re-textured. Available on MP here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Marlin-Paint-Applier-Killigrew/17059593 Full-size demo can be rezzed in-world at my main store or at my GTFO Hub.
  7. Update time No new releases yet, though I've got a few projects underway at the moment. The update is that both my main store in Bay City, and my Freight Hub in Sagittata, now have Casper Holo-vendors on site. This allows you to rezz a demo of ANY paint scheme I've made, on a full-sized vehicle. The added bonus is that both locations have saved quite a few prims, so I am toying with the idea of making my main store another GTFO Hub - it would have road access as well as a rooftop area for helicopters or airships. Since I don't need as much space in the building any more, I've converted level 3 into a vehicle art gallery. If you've got any nice pictures you want to see displayed there (need to be in 4:3 ratio approx) then hit me up in-world As for projects, here's a teaser:
  8. Mar 25 Update. i decided to keep in theme with the Marlin, and do another RL-based scheme, this time a police boat used by several counties in England. As normal for my stuff, almost everything gets repainted, and with this one i've included 2 hull style options, as well as authentic Honda outboards. Available on MP here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Marlin-Paint-Applier-Police/16925089 You can see it inworld on level 2 of my main store here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bay City - Truro/202/139/25

  10. Mar 07 update: Finally finished my Marlin paint It's based on US Customs dept interceptor boats, and repaints most of the exterior and interior of the boat. Use it to chase down suspect GTFO deliveries, or as an inspection vessel out on the seas, or just as a sneaky disguise Available on MP here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Marlin-Paint-Applier-Customs/16818530 As usual, a demo is available at my main store in Bay City: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bay City - Truro/202/139/25

  12. Feb 23 Update: Here's my latest release, a new arctic-camo paint scheme for the Rubber Bunny Halob (my personal favorite vehicle in SL). Saw a few pictures on the internet of a Hivus-10 hovercraft used in Russia and decided to try and loosely replicate it. As with all my paints, it's a complete re-texture of the exterior and interior, as well as the accessories. Available on MP here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Halob-Paint-Applier-Polar/16716067
  13. They are useful that's for sure, but to add to what Anna said, they are also quite high on LI, especially if you're only on a smallish parcel. I made my own one to cut down on the prim count a little, also so i cold maximize the size on my less-than-square shaped parcel.
  14. YOUR SL Account name: Eowyn Southmoor Vehicle creator SL Display name: N/A Broken VAPI?: No Name of vehicle: N/A Additional comments: I'd like to suggest the addition of 3 generic Vapi codes as listed below: GTFO!Air01 : for Aircraft, Seaplanes, Helicopters. GTFO!Sea01 : for motor or sail boats, submarines etc GTFO!Road01 : for cars, trucks, tanks etc Why? Firstly, there is a huge range of vehicles out there in SL, all of varying quality and popularity, and as such it's likely that some of us current users (or future users) might have at least one vehicle in their inventory that is somewhat capable of being used for GTFO, but currently has no Vapi. However, in my opinion, expecting the GTFO team to add a unique Vapi for every single mod vehicle that might be usable for GTFO is, I think, a little bit unreasonable, being both time consuming, plus (I assume) filling the database with a lot of codes for vehicles that might only rarely ever get used. Secondly, as we have seen, when builders make new vehicles for GTFO, there is often some delay before a vapi code is released for them. So, considering there is already a generic Train vapi in the system which allows any user to grab a free train and start enjoying GTFO, I believe adding the above 3 extra generic codes would be of great benefit. Obviously the freight capacity would be quite limited, I'd say no more than 10 packages for any of these codes (up to discussion), so the likelihood of someone using them to cheat the system would be minimal, plus I feel that most of us play GTFO for the fun rather than trying to specifically make the most G$ or earn the most xp. These codes would also allow newly released vehicles to be used for GTFO immediately, giving the GTFO team a chance to look at the vehicle and determine its freight capacity without being rushed. I personally think that, over time, it would also save the team from implementing a large amount of codes that are likely only to used by 2 or 3 people at most. I personally probably have around 15 GTFO capable vehicles that don;t have a Vapi code, but I know that in reality, I might be the only person to use some of these vehicles, which is why I've never requested them to be added. Many of us have inventories full of vehicles, so it's likely I'm not the only one in this situation. Thoughts?
  15. Hi! Thanks to the GTFO team for setting up this forum for us painters. Anyway, as the title suggests, I paint vehicles in SL, offering a small but ever-expanding range of paints for some of the more unique vehicles you can buy. Currently I make paints for 3 vehicles - The Rubber Bunny Halob hovercraft, the Rubber Bunny Stolly amphibious truck, and the Lusch Scout Jeep. I am about to release my first paint for the Rubber Bunny Marlin Catamaran too. I can also paint other brands too like AvA, Amok, Piaggio etc , but I tend to avoid brands like Dani and Bandit - simply because there is already so many good painters out there for these makers. I also do custom work when I have time, and more than appreciate suggestions for paint schemes. My paint schemes could be described as fairly simple, not too elaborate, but with a focus on attention to details. I try and improve the standard textures wherever I can, and I also tend to repaint the entire vehicle including the interior where possible. My main store is located in western Bay City HERE , just west of the Hairy Hippo Fun land. Currently it has scaled-down displays of most of my paints and a Casper vendor on site. It has roadside access, and there's a hang-glider rezzer on the roof if you feel like flying round Bay City. I also have another Vendor and small display shop set up at Janie's Landing Airport in North Eastern Satori, located HERE . My paints are also available from my GTFO hub along Route 1 road in Hetrocera Atoll, in the Sagittata region. Finally, all my paints can be purchased via the marketplace HERE . In this topic I will post pictures of new releases and updates, but feel free to post here if you have any questions or suggestions
